Meet Our Team: Maurice!

My journey began in the Netherlands as I discovered my interest in the arts, music and lifestyle industry. At the time, I worked at a Boutique Hotel welcoming guests from all over the world at a fairly young age. This led to my decision to live in the United Kingdom for a year and laid the foundation for my curiosity to travel more and explore the world. By the age of 25, I had visited 28 countries. My outlook on life changed tremendously through immersing myself into cultures and vast scenery.

I received my BSc in International Communications and Marketing from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. While earning my degree I majored in Communications in the United States at the University of California Santa Barbara. As a young graduate I decided to seek employment in Australia, this decision eventually brought me to many different places including Switzerland, Italy and ultimately Canada where I settled 5 years ago and found the man of my life from Mexico. 

Today my unwavering love and support for the LGBTQ+ community is translated to sharing a snippet of my travel experiences with at least one person a day, inspiring others to explore the world.
